Zameen’s index shows the average 1 Kanal house in Lahore at PKR 9.06 crore in January 2026, 9.14 crore in February, 9.16 crore in March, 9.32 crore in April, 9.50 crore in May, 9.44 crore in June and 9.63 crore in July, about Rs21,500 per square foot. That is a rise of about 6 percent since January. The June 2026 figure is about 8 percent above PKR 8.73 crore in June 2025.
2 Kanal Houses
For 2 Kanal houses the index shows PKR 20.16 crore in December 2025, 20.38 crore in January 2026 and 20.61 crore in July, about Rs25,900 per square foot. That is a rise of about 1 percent since January. The June 2026 figure of 20.67 crore is about 6 percent above 19.57 crore in June 2025.
10 Marla Houses
The index shows 10 Marla houses at PKR 4.10 crore in March 2026 and 4.21 crore in July, about Rs19,100 per square foot, a rise of about 3 percent. The June 2026 figure of 4.22 crore is about 5 percent above 4.01 crore in June 2025.
How to Read These Numbers
The index averages listing prices across all areas of Lahore, so a 1 Kanal house in DHA and one in a lower-priced society both count. A month-to-month change of one or two percent can be noise from which houses happened to be listed. Asking prices are usually higher than the price at which a sale closes. Use the index to see direction, and not to price a specific house.
What to Do Before You Make an Offer
Ask for recent completed transfers on the same street, and for a registry copy where you can get one. Compare the asking price per square foot with the index for the same size, and then with the sellers in your own society.
